Deeper Water

Gallery Pejean — April 19th to May 13th, 2017

The memory or feeling of being immersed in salty water, the gleam of aquatic surfaces, the shallow beaches and constant movement of wind and waves evokes nostalgia for days sailing at coastal areas of Tasmania.

The images associated with the landscape of these experiences are an important element of my work both thematically and emotionally. I aim to capture not only something of the experience of that landscape but also the movement through it.
